Second Friday Opening, February 10th, is from 6-10.

I will have three of my encaustic paintings at this fun event taking place at The Black Cloud Gallery in the Pilsen neighborhood. Everything is priced at $200, no more, no less! Pretty affordable as far as original art goes these days. This is the 3rd Art Bazaar that The Black Cloud Gallery has hosted and I hear it’s a great night where buyers can pull the work off the walls and take it home with them right then and there.

These are two of the three paintings that will be included in the show. I created both of these originally for the Somerset Workshop gallery section for the articles I wrote last year. They are both framed now and hanging at the gallery. I also have my most recent bowl painting there as well.

I, however, won’t be in attendance at the February 3rd opening as I am headed out east to celebrate my beautiful mother’s 70th birthday with her and my sisters. But I hope to make it to the Second Friday’s opening. At any rate, there’s going to be some great art up there from a good mix of Chicago artists for affordable prices. If you’re in the market, don’t miss it!
