In December I made a journal where I bound in about 365 pages. My plan was to do a quick collage a day on my 50th year around the sun. So far, I’m at 70/365. I took two videos of December/January and February collages over on my IG. I really liked one of the collages I made and decided to have a go at it at a little bit of a bigger size.
I love being by water. In Chicago I often went to Lake Michigan, even when temps were well below zero. In Seattle, we lived a block from the Puget Sound. Here now, I miss being by water, hearing waterbirds and foghorns. One day I’ll get back to the water.
I love being by trees, if you hadn’t noticed already. One of the reasons why I love the beaches of the Pacific Northwest is that often one needs to hike through trees to get to the beach. Very different than the beaches of the east coast that I grew up visiting!
Trees, earth, ocean, water, sky. Where I bring parts of me together and find my wholeness.
