High Tide River

High Tide River

High Tide River | oil mixed media, 24×18 inches

When we go visit the ocean we always go for a walk on the beach in the evening when the sun is almost gone and all the people are pretty much gone as well. The tide comes up high onto the beach and creates these temporary rivers on what just a few hours ago had been filled with umbrellas and people.

It’s magical and peaceful.

I tried to capture the peace and openness of those evening walks.
