These past few months I have entered a space that I am not used to being in. I have a toe in, not completely immersed. I kind of feel like this crow. Setting out on an unknown journey. We shall see how it unfolds. It’s a little uncomfortable, but sometimes that’s necessary.
“What has happened to our ability to dwell in the unknowing, to live inside a question and coexist with the tensions of uncertainty? Where is our willingness to incubate pain and let it birth something new? What has happened to patient unfolding, to endurance? These things are what form the ground of waiting. And if you look carefully, you’ll see that they’re also the seedbed of creativity and growth—what allows us to do the daring and to break through to newness. . . .”

I shipped this piece plus two others to Cappaert Contemporary in Egg Harbor, WI. I took a photo of all three after I framed them and had them up on my studio wall together. It was nice to see them together for a short while. The light on the bottom piece isn’t the best, but you can see it here for a better view of it. If you are interested in any of these, please feel free to get in touch with myself or the gallery.
I am really happy to have these three pieces at Cappaert Contemporary for their 2024 season. One of these days I will get myself to Egg Harbor. I’ve heard from so many people that I would love it.
Positively stunning!
Love all three pieces but especially love the top piece the blue. What is the cost? Many thanks! Susan.
