It’s been forever since I illustrated a recipe so I decided to do one the other day because I had made this Glazed Lemon Pound Cake that is a family favorite. I’ve made other recipes from this site that have also become family favorites so I highly recommend.
I generally only do my gouache on paper works at night when I am in my house. I don’t have time during studio hours to do these. But I love working on them. I’ve just been so tired at night lately and I just want to get in bed and read. I’m so glad though that the other night I pulled out my gouache tubes and brushes and painted this. I’m kind of thinking that I’d like to make a painting of this without the recipe. Just need to make the time for it. I love fruit paintings.
