I have been posting my mixed media panels lately, but I have also been working on larger landscape and seascape horizon paintings. Really thinking about layering and creating that atmospheric feel. This water horizon was inspired by a new years day walk a year ago by the northern tip of the Chesapeake Bay. It was a great way to greet the new year.
I remember it a cool day, but not cold, especially for it being January 1st…but lately winter doesn’t really seem to have that same bite except for a few days here and there. Yesterday I saw a little snake on my back steps! It’s mid-February, that really should not be happening. Sigh…
