Two exhibits: Small Wonders and Ornamental

While I was doing the small paintings in my 30 paintings in 30 days craziness of September, I saw a call for small works at a gallery in Annapolis and I thought that it would be a great opportunity, so I submitted and one of my little paintings was selected by juror Georgia Deal. The show opened last week and the opening reception is tonight. I had framed it for the show and luckily I remembered to take a photo of it framed before I sent it on its way to the gallery.

My painting sold last week when the show officially opened, but there are many other wonderful pieces in the exhibit from artists in the region and the gallery created an online gallery for all works. If you happen to find yourself in Annapolis tonight or this month, hope you can stop in.

This week I delivered six paintings to The Gray Gallery in Winchester, Virginia which is a really cute town- brick streets and lots of restaurants and shops. I have one of my small little 4×4 inch pieces in this show as well, but up to one of my larger paintings at 16×16 inches. My paintings are in good company with 5 other regional artists working in different media.
