This is what September created. Minus one piece that is elsewhere and my larger works that I have been working on and are still in progress.
I was cleaning up my studio on Friday afternoon and I took my 4×4 inch panels and put them together as a grid. I have 25 of them and so they made a 20×20 inch grid. I like how it looks, but feel that if added another row, across and down, it would look even better. That means 11 more panels. Perhaps, perhaps.
Two pieces from the top photo have sold already and I just got word that one of the 4×4 inch pieces was juried into a small works show called Small Wonders at the MFA Circle Gallery in Annapolis. During the first week of the challenge I saw a call for small works and thought, what a coincidence and submitted about an hour before the deadline.
Exhbition Dates: November 27-December 23 at MFA Circle Gallery. Reception: December 3rd, 6-8pm. I will post about this again when it’s closer. I’m excited to go to the reception as I love visiting Annapolis. I believe the gallery will also have an online exhibit and will ship out. I will post that link too once the exhibit goes up.
People online through social media often contact me and ask if my work I posted is for sale, and my answer is “always!” While I intend to make a larger grid, if you’re interested in one of these small pieces, please contact me. I would be happy and grateful to send them along to a new home.
