Echoes of What Came Before is an encaustic mixed media painting by Bridgette Guerzon Mills
Bridgette Guerzon Mills | Echoes of What Came Before, encaustic mixed media including rust ecoprints, 8×8 inches

Have you ever been someplace where you can feel the residual energy of what came before? Just asking, for a friend.

One of the lovely things about encaustic is that you can create layers that are semitransparent. You can see the duo fern images faintly that are beneath a layer of rice paper that I had ecoprinted with rust. And then on top of all that is an image transfer.

This encaustic mixed media painting is currently at Manor Mill in Monkton, MD in their first floor gallery shop. If you are interested in this piece or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me or the friendly folks at Manor Mill.
