I lived in solitude in the country and noticed how the monotony of quiet life stimulates the creative mind. ~Albert Einstein
Returned from a short trip out to the San Juan Islands just to getaway and to do some hiking. Didn’t hike due to this chest cold that will not go away. But spent a lot of time dreaming about living on an island where the water glistens, the trees stand tall and noble, and the air is clean. I felt so calm and inpsired by the natural beauty around me.
I’ve always been a city girl, especially since I went off to Chicago for college when I was 18. I always thought I’d be a city person no matter what. But I’ve changed. I don’t think I am that person anymore. But would I totally lose my mind living somewhere where you’re more likely to see cows than people?? That is the question.
Saw you post about Albert Einstein and thought it was great. I wrote a poem entitled “Breathless” which was inspired by Albert Einstein. He said,”Knowledge is limited, but imagination encircles the world.”
