Last year or maybe two years ago I took an eco print workshop up at Manor Mill where we steamed plant materials onto paper and fabric. This one is on paper that I mounted on wood and then painted with encaustic and pigment sticks. I particularly loved this print because of the rootlike threads on the bottom of the stem. I just love rooted forms.
Today I listened to a really interesting podcast interview of Tracee Stanley on a podcast called Sounds True. Some of the interviews are a little out there, even for me, but I really liked this one. It was called “What We Need in These Threshold Times“. Just thought I’d share here. I’ll probably listen to it again. Or find her book.
