Worked on some encaustic pieces yesterday. Encaustics are such an intersting medium to work with. I am still very much in the learning and exploration stage. Very much so. Whenever I’ve worked with encaustics I always get to a point where I say “oh, that’s it. I totally ruined it.” But I keep going, and it’s never ruined. It’s like, with encaustics you just kind of have to just watch the process. Some parts you really can’t control. Or at least I can’t. Yet.
