Wild Wonder

  • February 01, 2025

Happy to share that today is the day that the online exhibit Wild Wonder at Lark and Key in Charlotte, NC, opens, at noon EST to be exact! My work has been paired up with Hannah Seng’s wondeful paintings and also Molly Lithgo’s ceramics

I have 13 pieces in this show, all encaustic mixed media in various sizes. This is not a large piece, but it’s one of the larger ones in the show. It’s one of my favorites if I’m allowed to say that. I also framed this piece myself.

Bridgette Guerzon Mills | Echoes, encaustic mixed media including a vintage baptism gown, 24×12 inches, framed, currently at Lark and Key

My work where I have been exploring reciprocity is included in this show as well as lots of work that include salvaged and found materials. Like this piece above has a vintage baptism gown that I found at an estate sale. The material was so thin and I knew that is would look so beautiful combined with encaustic.

I will share more pieces included in this show in the next couple of weeks. But you can see them all online at Lark and Key’s website starting today, February 1st at noon. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!
